Dr Chuang Hsuan-Hung graduated with Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the National University of Singapore in 1994. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the Singapore General Hospital. Following his Cardiology fellowship training at the National Heart Centre of Singapore, Dr Chuang was awarded scholarships from the Ministry of Health of Singapore and the National Heart Centre to the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Ohio, the number one heart centre in the United States. During his two-year stint, he sub-specialized in heart failure and heart transplant intensive care, and genetic heart diseases. He also pursued training in advanced cardiovascular imaging, during which he was involved in the research and development of numerous state-of-art cardiac imaging techniques and their applications in interventional cardiology and stem cell therapy. In 2006, he spent a sabbatical period as a fellow at the Lenox Hill Hospital in New York, USA for training in cardiac and peripheral CT.
Prior to his appointment as a Consultant Cardiologist and Intensivist at Gleneagles Hospital and Mount Elizabeth Hospital, Dr Chuang held the post of Consultant Cardiologist at the National Heart Centre of Singapore, and Clinical Lecturer at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine at the National University of Singapore. He has lectured extensively in Asia-Pacific region. He has been a lecturer with the American College of Sports Medicine and is an advisor to the Singapore Sports Council. He has been appointed as a board member of the Singapore Heart Foundation and Senate board of the Management Development Institute of Singapore (MDIS).
As recognition for his numerous publications and contributions towards the advancement of cardiovascular care and research, Dr Chuang has been admitted as Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology, Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians, Fellow of the American Heart Association, Fellow of the American Society of Echocardiography, Fellow of ASEAN College of Cardiology, and Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore. He is an active member of numerous international societies, including the Council on Clinical Cardiology and the Council on Cardiovascular Radiology & Intervention, and the Interdisciplinary Working Group on Functional Genomics & Translational Biology in the American Heart Association.
Dr Pipin Kojodjojo specializes in cardiac electrophysiology and management of heart rhythm disorders in both adolescents and adults.
Experienced in managing patients with atrial fibrillation and unexplained blackouts (syncope).
Dr Stanley Chia is an interventional cardiologist with a distinguished academic record.
He is skilled and experienced in managing complex cardiovascular disease and difficult coronary interventional procedures like stenting of the left main artery.
Dr Jeremy Chow is an electrophysiologist specialising in the implantation and management of electronic cardiac devices.
Experienced in arrhythmia management, stroke prevention and trained in procedures such as electrophysiology studies and ablations.
Dr Tan Chong Hiok is an interventional cardiolgist trained and specialises in stenting of the left main artery and chronic total occlusion.
He is experienced in managing complex cases in patients who have declined or are unsuitable for bypass surgery.
Dr Goh Ping Ping is an echocardiologist trained in imaging of the heart.
She is a strong advocate of preventive cardiology and awareness for women’s heart health. She manages a broad spectrum of cardiovascular disease including heart attack patients.
Dr Chan Wan Xian is a heart failure intensivist specialised in managing complex heart failure and patients with mechanical hearts.
Trained in cardiac imaging and she is experienced is treating women at risk of heart disease, especially during pregnancy.
Dr Edgar Tay is an interventional cardiologist specialised in structual heart disease, adult congenital and pulmonary hypertension.
